]]>The Constitution never uses the word “God” or makes mention of any religion, Mike Huckabee thinks it’s time to put an end to that.
Look at what theocrat Mike Huckabee said: “I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution,” Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. “But I believe it’s a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that’s what we need to do — to amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than try to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view.”

Transcript:
This testimony today is eerily similar to the testimony the American people heard on April twenty eighth nineteen sixty seven from General William Westmoreland, when he told the American people–America was making progress in Vietnam.
General you say we’re making progress in Iraq but the Iraqi parliament simply left Baghdad and shut down operations last month. You say were making progress but the nonpartisan GAO office concluded that the Iraqi government has failed to meet a fifteen of the eighteen political economic and security benchmarks that Congress mandated. You say we’re making top progress? War related deaths have doubled. An ABC/BBC poll recently said that seventy percent of Iraqis say the surge has worsened their lives. Iraqis say the surge is not working.
I will conclude my comments General and give you a chance to respond but there’s one more thing if I may. We’ve heard a lot today about America’s credibility. President Bush recently stated we should not have withdrawn our troops in Vietnam because of the great damage to America’s credibility. General, there are fifty eight thousand one hundred ninety five names etched into the Vietnam war Memorial. Twenty years from now when we build the Iraq war memorial on the National Mall, how many more men and women will have been sacrificed to protect our so called credibility? How many more names will be added to the wall before we admit it is time to leave?

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says it hopes to conclude its investigation next week. Foley resigned from Congress on Sept. 29 after being confronted with the computer messages he sent to male teenage pages who had worked on Capitol Hill.
“We have requested to review federally owned computers that Mr. Foley used during his time as a representative, but the U.S. House of Representatives … cited case law restrictions that prohibited them from releasing those computers,” said Heather Smith, an FDLE spokeswoman.

]]>This video documents the mayor’s lack of respect for the fallen when he called off the recovery effort at Ground Zero on Nov. 1, 2001, after $200 million in gold bullion was recovered.
“We produced this documentary because we need to make sure our members know Giuliani’s real record,” said IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger.
“The UFA participated in this video to correct the myth that Rudy Giuliani has perpetrated on the American public,” said Steve Cassidy, president of the Uniformed Firefighters Association of Greater New York, IAFF Local 94.
The Giuliani campaign defended the former mayor’s record by issuing a release that lists items he purchased for FDNY.
“But the campaign, with its response, has neglected to address the charges of failed leadership outlined in our documentary,” President Schaitberger said.
“Purchasing equipment for a fire department doesn’t qualify any mayor to be president,” said Jack McDonnell, president of New York City Local 854, the Uniformed Fire Officers Association.
“If that’s the litmus test for president of the United States, then most mayors in this country qualify for the job. Giuliani is running on his 9/11 record, and his 9/11 record is laced with failures in preparedness and response,” McDonnell said.
The IAFF has not made an endorsement in the 2008 presidential election. Local 94 supported President George W. Bush in the 2004 election, while the IAFF
and Local 854 endorsed Sen. John Kerry.
The International Association of Fire Fighters, headquartered in Washington, DC, represents more than 280,000 full-time professional fire fighters and paramedics in every state in the United States and in Canada. More information is available at www.iaff.org and at www.rudy-urbanlegend.com.

]]>Arar, a Syrian-born Canadian citizen, was detained during a layover at John F. Kennedy International Airport in September 2002 on his way home to his family in Canada. He was held in solitary confinement in the U.S. for nearly two weeks, interrogated, and denied meaningful access to a lawyer. The Bush administration labelled him a member of Al Qaeda and rendered him, not to Canada, his home and country of citizenship, but to Syrian intelligence authorities, known by the U.S. government to practice torture.[1] While in Syria, he was regularly tortured for almost a year before being released to Canada.
Both the Canadian and Syrian governments have publicly cleared Arar of any links to terrorism. The United States government, however, refuses to clear Arar’s name and continues to have both him and his family on a watchlist.

I AM SO PISSED! I cannot believe that these gutless Democrats, a party that I have supported faithfully with MY time, MY sweat, and MY money, is rolling over for President Bush and giving him license to TRASH the Constitution! Below are listed the members of the Democratic party who have betrayed OUR TRUST and they should be opposed in the next Democratic primary. They work for us! We didn’t send then to Washington D.C. to ‘Go Along’ with this War Criminal President!
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act or (FISA) was a system that allowed a President to use all the resources that he or she needed to combat terrorism, with a judge overseeing the program and issuing a WARRANT. The President could have listened in on who-ever he wanted to for 3 days but it was required that he GET a WARRANT from a FISA JUDGE! It is the only oversight that we had on this out-of-control- President and it created a paper trail that guaranteed that the Presidnet WAS NOT listening in on AMERICAN CITIZEN’S PHONE CONVERSATIONS AND VIOLATING OUR RIGHT TO PRIVACY AS PROVIDED FOR IN THE BILL OF RIGHTS!
President Bush has been illegally wiretapping from 2001 to the present, instead of bringing charges of impeachment for high crimes, THESE Democratic party member voted to GIVE President Bush the law that he wanted, that retroactively made all of his domestic spying crimes LEGAL. I expect this treachery from the Bush administration, but to have MY Democratic Senators and Congressmen CAVE IN TO THIS PRESIDENT’S ILLEGAL DEMANDS TO REWRITE THE FISA LAW IS INEXCUSABLE!
These are the 16 Democratic Senators who supported President Bush’s RAPING of the Bill of Rights. They voted FOR Bush’s amendments to the FISA law.
1) Evan Bayh- Jr Senator from Indiana
2) Tom Carper- Jr Senator from Delaware
3) Bob Casey- Jr Senator from Pennsylvania

16) Jim Webb- Jr Senator from Virginia
Every Republican Senator who voted, voted in favor of Bush’s amendments to the FISA law.
